does anyone have an idea on average how long a creditors meeting last?

Hello r.t,
The creditors meeting is actually not a physical meeting where your creditors come together to discuss your proposal. These days its usually all done by either phone or fax, your I.P should give you instructions as to when the meeting will be "held", usually this is the deadline when the creditors get there votes in.

the meeting is on fri afternoon so hopefully i will know by the end of fri what the outcome is.

I knew the result of my meeting within 45 mins.
Meeting was at 10.30am and i knew the outcome by 11.15am

I was told 1hr 15 mins after the time set for the meeting, they rang on time.

My husband and I had our meeting(s) on the 8th Feb at 12noon and 12.05pm. They rang at 12.14pm to confirm they had both been accepted. Good service from team Melanie again!

Hi RT good luck with this, are you having the sleepness nights, wondering, mine is next Thursday 6th and i believe we are with the same company so to hear the outcome would be useful

The meeting when it happens is very quick and painless and after all the stress and worry I had before it, after it I thought 'Is that it?'
Very strange feeling

I find that I find the forum to still be a great support after my accepted iva
