Hi All

Firstly id just like to say that reading this forum has made me feel less alone and that Im not the only one in this situation.

I got my creditors meeting date through today, Thur 6th Mar.

As many of you ive had many a sleepless night thinkin how the hell did I find my self in this position, but hey I have.

Im getting numerous calls from my creditors, whats ironic is creation finance to whom I owe £170 have called me more times my other creditors put together.

My total debt is approx £80k

My proposal repays 33.6p in the pound and I was wondering from your experiences whether this is likely to be successful and what modifications are likely?

Mikey

Hi mikey and welcome
Could you please tell us who your creditors are and how much you owe to each then im sure one of the experts can better advise.

Well it certainly would appear to fit usual acceptance criteria, so let's hope for a good result for you on the day.

It is often the case that the creditor who is owed the smallest amount who has the loudest voice!

Hi Mikey

My offer was slighty less than yours and my debts much bigger than yours, as the experts state if its the best offer and they can see that then fingers x all will be fine, however mrs skint is correct in saying if you tell us to whom the debts are owed and how much this may assist the experts ( and the rest of us who have gone through the process) in making a more calculated reply.

best wishes and luck pete

I can see no problem with any of those creditors, and MBNA are less than 25% of the aggregate in any case.

Hi Mickey
You have a good mix of creditors with no one creditor having a deciding vote
Good luck

Shazzles, Good luck for your meeting on tuesday. My iva was agreed in Jan 2008, my dividend was only 21p in the pound . I didnt think that my iva would be ok but i had a vote of over 95% .
