I entered into an IVA 2 months ago, and yesterday our 10 year old cars engine siezed up...
We need a car to get to work as it is too remote/too early to use any other form of transport. Our IVA leaves us with no money to purchase another vehicle, can anybody offer any advice on what we can do?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Andrew and welcome to the forum. One of our worries as well, ours is old too. I would ring your Ip and discuss any options or advice they can offer. Maybe a payment holiday could help. Or is there a family member that could help out with the loan of a car, or purchase one that you can pay them back after the iva.

A chat with your IP is essential to see what options there are available to you, and possibly a short-term loan from family is the quickest way to get you back on the road.

Hiya Andrew and welcome to the forum. I'm not an expert but from the advice giving to others in this situation is to contact you IP to see if you can have a payment break/holiday to help towards the cost. I'm sure one of the experts on the forum will be along soon to advice you properly, xx
