My husband and myself currently have debts which amount to approx £50,000.00, about £25,000.00 is made up of student loans. Within the remainder there is a large amount, approx £8,000.00 which is owed to Stirling Park for council tax arrears. Would the Stirling Park debt be included in with an IVA

Just to clarify first please... Are you in Scotland?
Secondly are Stirling Park debt collectors and if so has a liability order been granted against you?

Yes I am in Scotland
Stirling Park are a debt collector who deal with council tax arrears.
They arrested my wages two weeks into my new job and then tried to arrest my bank account, that was unsuccessful. The wages arrestment has since been lifted as it was only for £800 and I now pay £150 a month to keep the wolves from the door.
