Self Employed Earnings

Sorry another question....so my husband is also in an IVA. We've just done his self assessment tax return for 2022/2023 and his earnings after deductions are a lot lower than we had predicted in our budget. And we were wondering why we were finding this last year so difficult. How will the IVA people deal with this, will they lower our ongoing payments given that our past payments should have been lower?
