F and F questions

Im in the fortunate position of being able to make a full and final settlement offer thanks to a family member. My current situation is:
  • Original IVA for 6 years not teh standard 5 due to NRAM mortgage
Original 6 year IVA final payment due on 1st October 2023
Further 12 months added to the original 6 years when I couldnt (thankfully) remortgage
I therefore have another 14 payments to make and my final payment will be 1st October 2025.
So assuming my offer is accepted.
  • Will the IVA remain on my credit record until October 2024? I appreciate that even when settled early the credit record is effected for 6 years however my 6 years will be up in October 2023.

Similarly, will I have to wait until 2024 for my completion certificate or will I be able to get that as soon as its settled (assuming F and F offer is accpeted).
Thanks

Your completion will be done as soon as your offer is accepted and all finishing paperwork is done.

Your credit record will still be shot until the full six years is done regardless of the fact that you have finished early.

Thanks - do you mean the full 7 years? My 6 year original IVA is up in 2 months

I imagine it will be for the full term of the IVA as you had the extra year put on. It will then fall off after that.
