Who will insure my home now I have a IVA. My insurer has refused my renewal once I said I had a IVA.

I'm sorry this hasn't been picked up. Hopefully one of our other posters will pick up on this and help. I'm afraid I don't know of any specific companies but can only suggest that you either ring round a few or check them out online to see what their criteria is.

You could try popping your details into a couple of comparison sites, which will generally ask about the IVA up front and pass on quotes from those insurers who will be happy to proceed.

I never had home insurance before my iva , 1 year into my iva I realised I needed to get home insurance , when looking around most companies asked me if I was in a iva , the ones who would expect me where crazy expensive , I am now insured with “ home protect “ I declared I had a iva but i found them the cheapest £13 a month , and I think they may specialise for people with an iva I’m not sure, but give them ago x
