Hi, I wonder if you can help we completed our IVA 2018 we recieved our completion certificate stating it was finished and signed. We are currently trying to remortgage and although we have sent a copy of our certificates they have requested them on headed paper from the company, the certificates are not on headed paper and I've searched the company apperture and it seems they've been taken over. I'm worried now the mortgage lender will refuse us as they are not on headed paper and there is nothing I can do. Many thanks

Legacy IVA's are being dealt with by the Aperture Trust Department:
https://apertureiva.com/debt-solutions/ ... trust-faqs
They list their email as:
IVATrusts@aperture.co.uk although we have also seen listed as
ivatrusts@aperture.com -- a lot of bounce backs have been reported !
Elaine Masters is still listed as an IP at Aperture ... maybe try mailing her at the address listed by the Insolvency Service:
elaine.masters@aperture.uk.com
I was with Grant Thornton, before they became Aperture, and my Certificate was also on plain paper !

Elaine Masters isn't at Aperture more. Who was IP who was supervisor of your IVA?

Thank you MrMole ---- I was only going by the Insolvency Service listing, which, it seems, is also out of date !

Ours some 13 years ago now was not on headed paper and it was never an issue in every mortgage we have had since.

Honestly I'm at a lost as what else I can the mortgage company nationwide have now come back saying they can't find us on the gov online Insolvency agency as we settled over 3 years ago, they are saying the certificate not on headed paper is not good enough and I could have knocked it up myself!!! So unless I can show them public records we have settled it we can't move forward.

Try contacting the Insolvency Service and see if they have an archived copy, or can write confirming you were removed from the Register due to having completed the IVA.

Thank you, luckily I have had some help from Sabrina even though she no longer works for the company and managed to get a copy of our iva completion report. I had lost all hope of getting anywhere. Just a waiting game again for a yes or no fingers crossed.

I would speak to Ryan or Shaun to see if they can offer advice if you continue to struggle to get a yes. Both are forum mortgage experts ...

Hi katie571. We have helped many members on this forum obtain mortgages after an IVA. Nationwide are notoriously difficult, so i wish you the best of luck with it.
