IVA company has changed hands

Hi all, haven’t been on here in a while just after a bit of advice.

I finished my IVA in 2016, then last year just before the deadline, I asked about PPI on one of my old creditors accounts. I didn’t have PPI on the account, but it appears to have money in it paid in from the iVA which has been sitting in their account since 2011. The creditor had quickly sold on my debt so shouldn’t have got any money from the IVA, and the company who bought the debt closed the account on the completion of the IVA in 2016. So who should the money go to? Obviously I would be more than happy to have it back! But I don’t know who to contact about it as the IVA company I used appears to have changed hands since I last contacted them! I have been chasing this with my old creditor since March with no luck

I was originally with personal debt helpline, which became Knightsbridge, which became Pinnacle. The phone numbers I have in old correspondence are no longer in use, so does anybody know who took on the accounts from these companies?

Hi. If you can remember the name of the IP at the time your IVA completed, you might be able to contact then and get some answers or information.

Did you keep your original paperwork? If so it should give you your IP's name.
