Hello i have been in my iva for five years seven months and work as a supermarket replenshiment driver for a leading supermarket chain .I have five payment remaining the next two wages could be significantly higher than i have been payed before in may and june .if im forced to self isolate i will get full pay sick pay im due a 10% bonus on wages erned from march 6th through to may 7.At work it is now possible if im required to work overtime(my employer as activated clause in employment because of national ermergency in supply and says im now a key worker)car is broken needs expensive repair possible will get anouther bonus in july but this will be a percentage of annual wage do not want iva to fail need car to get to work .Do i need to talk to my ip.Will i have to pay all into iva .But need some of extra to get car back on road as priorty to keep in job .ps when started iva didnt think this situation could hapen.

As per the agreed terms around half of the overtime and bonus would be due to be paid to the IP. In these unprecidented times it is certainly worth having a chat with your IP. They could allow you to retain enough for the repairs and repay it by extending the IVA to cover the arrears. They could allow a payment break of regular payments and add those on the end of the term. Much will depend on the figures involved, of course, but do speak to them --- at worst your repairs will be covered by the half you get to keep.
