End date to my IVA

Hi
My IVA was started in March 2015 however my last payment is October 2020. Is the end date March or October please? I d like to know when it stays in my credit file until as I know it’s 6 years but not sure if it’s from when it started or when the last payment is taken. Thanks!

The end date is not fixed, nor is it the date of the last payment. You agree at the outset to make, usually, 60 payments ( which can be extended if there is equity in your home, if owned, or if you miss payments or do not correctly account for extra income). After that there is a period of up to 6 months, where you are still in the iVA but not making regular payments, while they tie matters up. The IVA only ends when the IP issues the certificate of completion.
Credit files will clear up 6 years from the start of the IVA, providing the IVA has completed and all defaults were correctly recorded and dated --- have a read here:
