Hi I was thinking of doing PARK vouchers for next year’s Christmas shop as I struggled this year being in a IVA, I’ve been looking in to it and it seems a good idea, can you do this in an IVA or is it not acceptable? Thanks

Why don't u just save the cash and put it into a piggy bank. Park is a con in my opinion. You have to buy from their over priced catalogue and there is always the risk of them going bust.

As long as you purchase the vouchers from existing allowances it should be OK -- but I share disneygal's opinion on value.

I would just save the cash yourself. If you feel you will dip into it maybe give it to a trusted family member to keep hold for you.

Get yourself a savings jar that can only be opened by smashing it and start saving that way.

Yes we did it for the whole of our IVA and still do now.
Its great. Really useful. It was notes on our budget under ‘sundries’ and was never questiined by CF at review time.
Its ok people saying just save the cash but we all know we dip into things like that. By doing the vouchers we were savings towards christmas and didnt have access to funds so knew we had £X amount coming in Oct/Nov. We were able to give them as presents or use them for own shopping.
You may have to do it
within your allowances rather than an allowed expenditure but ours were already in place and like i say was never questioned.

I would save via a friend or put the money onto a saver card for the supermarket you use. Certainly would be dubious about catalogue savings that then charge significantly more for things ... but each to their own and everyone is entitled to their own opinions

The park vouchers arent catelogue things....you can pay for Love2shop vouchers and you get what you pay for.
We saved £450 each year using it each year during our IVA which was just over £30 a month or thereabouts.
To get £450 in Nov to then use in high streets shops was a godsend. Or we just slipped a £10 voucher into cards.
There is means of doing hampers and stuff which yes probably are pricey however the love2shop voucher worked out great. We have already made 2 payments towards Christmas 2020 vouchers!

We do love 2 shop vouchers - just put them in a card. Can be spent on what you want.

Abbiesmum thank you for correcting me - I misunderstood the recent TV advert clearly!
