Another IVA?

I previously had a joint IVA that successfully concluded 2 years early via a full and final settlement from a family member.

My job changed last year and my income is half what it used to be and I was hoping to get back to what I used to earn as a contractor. I’m now in full time permanent PAYE employment but unfortunately I’ve built up debts again and need to consider options on another IVA although I do have more income available this time to contribute. Will I be able to enter another IVA in just my name?

There should be no reason why not, but, I imagine, you might be required to explain why you are in difficulties so soon after the last one and creditors might be wary.

Then, of course, as always, it will depend on the full picture and all of your circumstances.

Agree with foggy - the reasoning behind why may be accepted however your circumstances will dictate .. are you a homeowner? Is there equity in a property that could be released ...
Take some professional advice from a couple of companies before deciding which your chosen route is ...

Yes you can propose another IVA but will likely need to disclose the previous one, depending on how much time has passed.
