Per diem payments

hi, im 6 months into an IVA, And i was woundering if I have to pay anything from into the IVA perdiem payment from my place of work for traveling outside the UK.

You should be ok but best inform your IP to be on the safe side.

Most travel / per diem payments are to cover the extras involved with being away from home and do not ( or are not intended to) supplement your net income, as such ..... in one hand and straight out the other. But, as has been said, it is best to discuss with your IP so there are no surprises for either of you.

I have expenses in my wages every month as I work away 2 nights a week. As they appear on my payslip after my tax deductions my IP doesn’t count it as additional income and doesn’t affect additional payments when I do earn normal overtime etc.
