Financially linked

Hello, after abit of advice please... My husband and i entered into our iva contracts in February this year. In 2014 i was a guarantor for my daughter on car finance when she was straight out of uni. That loan ended in 2017. Since then we have had no financial links. She got a second car on finance without the need of a guarantor and has a credit card which she always pays off in full. She should have a very good credit score. Last week she tried to get a new phone contact, something she's never had problems with previously and was declined due to not passing ee's credit search( currently with 3). This is the first time she's applied for anything needing a credit search since we started our iva's. She doesn't know about mine or her dads ivas and im wondering if it could be those that's made her fail the credit search? Would that be possible do you think and if so can i do anything to help? Shes saving up for a deposit on a house and im worried sick our predicament is going to harm her getting a mortgage? Thanks in advance!

You need to see her credit files from each agancy to see if they have you still associated --if so, you can dis-associate yourself.
Is the car loan she has now through the same company ? You might find that you are still a guarantor --- this used to happen a few years back, I don't know if it has ever been addressed and changed.

I agree with Foggy - check Clearscore, Noddle, CreditKarma and Totally Money - all free.
