Proof of pension contribution

I received a letter from my IVA company who have requested to see proof of how much I am contributing to my pension each month. I contacted work HR who have confirmed by email I am paying 3%, which is apparently just below the maximum I am allowed whilst in an IVA.
My question is, will they need to see payslips or will my email from HR be sufficient enough proof?

Yeah so I'm not really sure why they need it. After my first year review I got a letter from the chairman's report saying they estimate it to be 2.9%.

Remind the IVA firm that they already have the info as it is included in your wage slips that they have been given.
