I’ve been in a Iva since November and my dad has found out about it and isn’t happy about me being in it, he said he wants to pay my debts off and get rid of Iva but now I’m in it, I’m I blacklisted for 6 years regardless whether he pays it off or not? I owned £11k and I have been paying £80.00 a month, can anything be done to get my of that register? Thanks

You will come off of the Insolvency Register three months after the completion certificate is issued, but the IVA will remain on your credit reference agency files for 6 years regardless.... trashing your credit worthiness for at least that time.

Thank you for your response, so there’s no way of getting it to disappear? That if I fail it and sort the depts out with them myself? Thanks

No -- now that it is 'on record' it will stay there regardless.

Your 'blacklist' will remain on your credit record for six years from the start of your IVA. As Foggy says, you cannot remove it from the Insolvency Register until they remove it.
