Been over 7 years since my IVA was completed. Received a rather dodgy letter from a company called Aperture saying that I had been missold my IVA fill the enclosed form in and return it as they had been authorised by my Supervisor to do this on my behalf. My name spelt wrong and no mention of name of my supervisor who dealt with my IVA.

Received an email which looks to be a scam email with click these links for more information from some company called First Dispute Management. Possibly a psuedo name for Aperture? Wonder if they are a modern version of a company on the south coast that went by many different names who wanted people in IVA's to move to them as they claimed people had been missold their IVA's and were entitled to all their money back. Sorry not going to be clicking links in unsolicited emails. Basic online security.

If these are supposedly working on behalf of my supervisor why have I not been informed by them or a representive of from their company?

As this just screams scam and lets jump on the bandwagon as its nearing the end of the PPI claims and they need another source of income.

Aperture are a genuine company. Are you still in your IVA? If so then Aperture are just trying to check PPI. I’d ignore the email though - you will never get all of your money back.

Also, any money claimed back will go to your creditors.
