Completition certificate

Why do completition certificates take so Long to arrive?! I’ve been told 3-6 months due to the admin involved. I’m not exactly thrilled at the idea of being attached to this for another 6 months and I’m led to believe it’s another 3 months before my names off the register ??

That is correct - some firms take longer than others. You will remain on the register for up to three months once the completion is received. Be patient- it will all be over soon!

It may come a lot sooner ...but whatever happens you are at the end of your journey now, so stay positive and enjoy debt freedom...no looking back on things !

Unfortunately some firms do use the 6 months as a minimum instead of maximum.

Keep pressure on your IP to release it.

How long shall I leave it before beginning to push them for it ? It’s only been about 5 weeks .

You can keep on at them but 5 weeks isn't long.

It can't hurt to chase them up.

In my opinion a monthly call to see where they are at with proceed may help to keep them focused on your case

The more you pester them the more likely they might be to speed your up.

I had to pester them like crazy to push my F&F through so I’m not holding out much hope for a quick turn around! Amazing took about 6 weeks to set me up and prob 6 months to end it 😂
