Hi, me and my partner commenced iva's back in 2008. We received a completion certificate in 2016. We seem to be due some ppi but dfd, our original insolvency people no longer exist, and mbna refuse to release ppi to us, stating an offset against a debt incurred pre iva? Advice please.

DFD cases were passed to Aperture in late 2017. I do not know, but maybe the interest in and responsibility for the continuing trust of closed cases would also have been transferred.

Aperture are actively seeking PPI, even from closed IVA. Today I got a letter off the, I was with Grant Thornton, asking to sign paper work to recover PPI. It is going to be fruitless as I personally claimed all PPI for my IVA pot during the IVA, but then it's their fishing trip and will cost me nothing.

Aperture will now be the interested party and will distribute monies to your creditors if they are still pursuing matters on your case. If not Aperture may send it to you to do direct
