Sorry to ask but I’ve trawled the forum just looking for some positive vibes around Barclays so far the only one I’ve read that mentions Barclays they rejected the offer. I’ve 16 months remaining on my IVA, been smooth sailing so far apart from the obvious struggles, all payments made on time and overtime(very minimal) being declared. I have proposed a full and final offer for the remaining amount if the Iva was to run its course and Barclays are pretty much the only creditor that matter as they have more than 75% of the debt. Does anyone have any experience of them and what the likely outcome will be? I know there are no guarantees but a month is a long time to sit tight but would like some positive news to settle the nerves.

The only bad trend with Barclays that I am aware of is with their collections arm, Mercers. Hopefully they will see sense with a F&F.

I really hope so, I’d love to draw an end to the Iva and move on although it is my fault for being in this situation. May is going to be a long month
