Hi just wanted to wish everyone a very happy and healthy new year. Haven't been on for a while as my father's health has declined rapidly. Just found out today that unlike power of attorney you cannot be a deputy (unfortunately dad lost mental capacity before we could apply for poa ) in an iva. Has taken them 9 months and £400 to tell me this. Thought I would pass on in case someone is in same boat. Happy New year moira

Sorry to hear about your dad's decline. I hope that 2019 is as happy as it can be in the circumstances.

Sorry to hear about your dad. I was fortunate that I was able to get POA for my father.
