I received my completion certificate at the end of Oct and will be removed from the insolvency register in Feb 2019. I have today received a letter from a creditor who was in my IVA claiming I have fallen behind in my payments and need to contact them to arrange payment - what should i do?

Ignore it / pass it to your IP or, if you wish, drop them a line saying that the debt was included in an IVA and to contact your IP if they require any further information. Chances are it's just a computer blip.

You are safe in the knowledge of your iva ... just pass it to your IP and get them to address it for you

I received one like this once and panicked, I rang the firm up and they told me it should have gone through their shredder but somehow was posted out in error.

Thanks all for the advice. I didn't know if the IP would still deal with something like this once the IVA had finished, but I will forward onto them to address.

Thanks again

Nothing to worry about anyway. Personally I would just bin it.
