i am in an iva JBW clamped my car the iva company had spoken to them and referred the iva agreement to them. they had asked for them to remove the clamp.
the iva was agreed june 15th 2018 the money chasing for parking tickets is from august 2017.
as far as i am concerned they are breaching the peace and they are unlawfully holding my car which is extortion i was unable to attend interview and cant take my dog to the vet who is very poorly tomorrow at 0930. i have spoken with 4 other iva companies and they have advised they regardless of whether they can see it on there or not anything prior to june 15th 2018 by law the cannot cease or take anything because it is protected the higher manager at JBW Refused EMPLOYEE CARL AND KELLY SAID NO.

Hi -
Is the parking ticket debt included in the IVA?
What has your IVA company said apart from the fact they sent the information over - have they phoned them directly to discuss?
It must be really hard for you - a car is a necessity!

I would phone the police and report the clampers for harrassment.

The police may not get involved as they will possibly feel it is a vicil issue.

The debt dispute might be a civil issue, but illegally clamping a vehicle might not be.

Possibly have a free chat with a local solicitor. or speak to CAB.

A car is rarely a necessity, plenty of people happily exist without one, especially if you can't afford it or can't afford to pay parking fines - too many people think cars, expensive mobiles, Sky TV packages are a necessity - they are not.

For some people a car is a necessity, especially if you live in a rural area or have medical needs.

I am not sure this comment is particularly constructive. I could not get to work without a car full stop.
