Good Afternoon,

my IVA is due to finish in January after a very long 5 years, I'm now trying to find out some information about what happens after this payment, I've spoken to Creditfix and they have advised that all i need to do is cancel my standing order and wait for the C.C to arrive through the mailbox.

However what I'm not sure of is all the account i have as showing defaulted on my credit file, will they drop off once i send in the C.C or will they be there until next year?

Should all drop after your six years are up

As Kallis says a default will show for 6 years from the date it is recorded - the start date of all the defaults should be the same as the IVA start date so that on the 6th Anniversary all the reports (Experian, Equifax and Callcredit/Noddle) should be clear.

Regards
