Any chance of a mortgage?

Hi I am in my 2nd year of an IVA and it looks as though our family will be expanding. We live in a shared ownership house currently which is in my partners name only. We have new build housing being built in the village we live and to enable us to buy a bigger house I would need to be on the mortgage. What would the likelihood be of us getting a joint mortgage when I have an IVA and also getting on the help to buy scheme. I look forward to any advise you can provide me.

Hi,
Unfortunately you are unlikely to be able to get a joint mortgage whilst in an IVA.

Hi Lauren,
There is a specialist Lender who are about to launch a new Help to Buy product aimed at Clients who are within the 6 years of an IVA however, you would have to settle the IVA to qualify. Also you would have to be accepted by both the Lender and the Help to Buy scheme.
Regards
