Hello, I am in my final 6 months of my IVA with payplan. I have no equity so its the standard 5 year term. A couple of years ago a company called Credo checked for any PPI on behalf of Payplan and none was found so everything was signed off regarding that.

I have just recently received a letter from Payplan saying a company called Allay claims ltd will be contacting me regarding PPI, Packaged bank accounts and mis sold payday loans.

Is this normal to waste everyones time and companies money to do something a second time.

I have no PPI claims, i wasn't mis sold a payday loan and my old current account before my IVA is one of my creditors so I persume they wont persue that.

Has anyone else had to go through two PPI claims while in an IVA.

Just having a rant about the process.

Only two? Some of us go through several. The fault does not lie with the IVA provider, but with the banks still refusing valid claims and the ombudsman advising reclaiming each time the banks get their wrists slapped.
Incidentally I never took out PPI (knowingly) and swore there was none to be had -- they found ober £8,000 and, if they want to look again, they are welcome.
