Just a general question/poll really. Do people think the current ruling that any unclaimed PPI automatically goes into your IVA, if it wasn't 100% paid off, would change or be further investigated dependent on individual cases and the money be paid to the debtor, between now and the deadline of August 2019?
Maybe in a circumstance that it is proven a PPI contributed to the debtor ending up in an IVA in the first place? You don't need to owe thousands to be in an IVA. As little as £10,000 is a starting figure and in todays money, that not a lot.There must be some cases like that, I would think.
Any thoughts/comments?

They are not likely to make any change between now and the deadline -- apart from pushing claims. There is no reason for them to suddenly decide that, as the gravy boat is running dry they will let us have the dregs .... they will be going for those dregs themselves!

As for the PPI contributing to some debt, this would be a difficult one to argue. PPI might well have tipped tha balance, but we still took out the loans.
