Was in IVA with debt free direct, now Aperture have taken over made last payment in February 2018 waiting for completion certificate. I have received a cheque from PPI which was nothing to do with debt listed in my IVA.

Do I need to inform Aperture about PPI cheque??

Yes you do as all PPI belongs to the creditors and, in any event, you are still in your IVA.

That is going to sting! But not as much as being found out 6 months down the line, after you have spent it. Every PPI check I received and reported to my IP was a horrible experience.

It is painful -- but in the grand scheme of things (and everyones figures are different) I "lost " £8k PPI to my creditors, but they "lost" over £30k of my principle debt along with at least £20k in unpaid contractual interest. So I still came out well ahead ---- although, I have to admit, it didn't feel like that at times ... but ... with the benefit of hindsight ........
