Am I allowed to take car insurance payments over 12 months?

Am I allowed to take car insurance payments over 12 months in a IVA as this is a credit deal or telephone contracts would I be breach my terms of iva?

An IVA allows for credit of up to £500, assuming you have the usual clauses. for just this sort of thing. These days car insurance and utilities tend to go over that amount, but, unless it gets silly, IP's do not generally examine this too closely. Most, if not all, of us took insurance monthly (after all the allowance is monthly and where would we get a lump sum from? ).

Ours was monthly with no problems.

I paid all my bills by monthly direct debit or standing order including car insurance and had no probs
