My IVA was with Grant Thornton but was sold on & I don't know who they sold it on to & I have still haven't received my completion certificate, even though it ended 6 months ago. Does anyone know who I need to speak to? Thanks

GT's IVA arm "morphed" into Aperture --- you need to contact them. It is likely that you still have the same IP and they should be able to assist. Unfortunately, like GT before them, they are not the fastest horse in the race and you might need to pester mercilessly until you get a response.

I thought GT was something to do with Northern Rock. His name was part of my creditors names, unless he has fingers in other pies too...

Grant Thornton are a group of companies and one arm of that group represents creditors and will vote in IVA's on behalf of some creditors. So, you used to get situations where one part of GT were voting on IVA's run by another part of the same company. They would, however, have been ring-fenced and neither privvy to information they should not have been.
