is Money in Control a reputable company?, is there something that I should know about this company?, will I be safe entering into an IVA through this company? I really need reassurance, can you help?

Hi Maryon, I'm afraid I'm not aware of Money in Control - hopefully others who post will have some knowledge/experience. Our general advice is to speak to 2 or 3 different companies for help/advice and then make a decision as to which you feel happiest with.

I cannot find any sign of that company with the Government Companies House.

If it was myself I would avoid them, especially as there has been a post on here about them a couple of years ago cold calling someone already in an IVA.

Hi. I am afraid that I can only repeat Keith's post. I have not heard of Money in Control. I will do a little digging and see what I can discover. Hopefully some of our other posters have direct experience.

As a point of interest - were you cold called?

They are apparently FCA accredited, but this is third hand. They have a reputation for agressive cold calling but also seem to have a few happy clients. Personally I would avoid cold callers / ambulance chasers.

Same here - I'd go with a reputable firm - you can find plenty on here.

They appear to be an introducer, so you will be handed over to an Insolvency Firm in due course.

I imagine they will be charging a fee for the 'Introduction'. I wonder who they pass them on to.

Steer clear of introducers - go straight to an IP and cut out the middleman.
