Hi all.
Partner and i both in an iva. Just approaching end of year 6 (nram together morgage) . My partner is now jobless and payplan have said to try for payments to date.
It is currently frozen. There is equity in the house. My question is are the creditors likely to refuse or agree? Am i right in thinking that if they refuse they get nothing?

I was with a different firm and couldn't make payments about half way through due to becoming a single parent -- my F&F on payments to date was accepted -- so it does happen !

It seems the correct thing to do and given that you cannot afford the payments there is no reason for creditors to reject. This is quite common so best of luck.

Are they likely to approve it? If they dont do they get nothing if iva fails

It does happen - Foggy managed it.

We do it on a regular basis and creditors are normally fine. If it is not your fault and there have been illnesses redundancies etc then there is no reason to punish you by failing the IVA.
