From my previous questions, I have now sorted Santander and they said that the default was adjusted and removed from my credit file yesterday, so thats the stray default sorted.

Next is my arrear on my file.

My BOS preference account was one of my creditors in my IVA. They didnt register a default and the account was registering OK from Nov 2010 (my IVA started in sept 2010) all the way to December 2014. After Dec 2014 that is when the missed payments started kicking in all the way to Jul 2015 when a "settled" was put on the account.

Can anything be done with this?

Thanks

I believe that you can request a backdated default to the date of the IVA and this would then fall off. Someone else may be able to answer better.

Would this be different if they had sold the debt on to say for example Max Recovery? Is there a way of find out if they did this?

If the debt was sold to Max it would be on the final report but I doubt if they could remove a default put on by HBOS. I am not sure but no doubt someone here will have gone through this before and can point you in the right direction.

Best bet would be to run it by the CRA.
