Hi,
IVA completed with Stepchange and CC's received within a few weeks.
What a great feeling and well worth the effort.
Property,equity and pensions etc all protected.
I'd like to thank the regular posters on here as the information and knowledge shared has been invaluable throughout.
I must recommend Stepchange who have been excellent.
Over the 6 years I have read about issues with most private company's but can't recall any real problems with the Stepchange IVA dept.
They don't bother with PPI either.
It's a shame the 2010 protocol had to be changed as I think it's been the best one.
Once you've agreed on a return then any additional income etc you can introduce makes things so much easier, we've been lucky with payrises and bonuses.
Credit file stuff now as everything should have dropped off.

Yes Stepchange do conduct the business of an IVA seemingly well, however, they have a habit of farming many, if not most, applications to other firms, who are not regarded as so helpful. You were lucky to have been kept in house.

The PPI question is a curious one and could well come back and bite Stepchange on the rear end.

Congratulations Luna, I was with Stepchange myself which ended Aug 2015 and, like yourself, found no problems and they were very helpful the couple of times I had problems with my cars.

Like yourselves we were with Stepchange and it was a fairly stress free ride!!! A few hiccups along the way with car etc and me being very impatient towards the end!!

But yes a great feeling to have finished. Just waiting for everything to sort its self out with the credit reports.
