Bit of adice please as worried. My partner and i are just starting yr 6 of iva (nram insisted) i have sent in my latest i & e just received letter stating because it hasnt changed they want to see last 3 month of bank statements. Never before have they asked for these. Why would this be. Cheers

This is quite common and is nothing to worry about.

More often these days IPs are requesting bank statements, some have always done, some just do on a random sample of clients, others seem to be adopting it as normal practice. There is probably no nefarious reason, just one of those things.

Its just in case you have won the lottery and not told them.
Its part of standard procedure and in no way there to catch you out. Many firms ask for regular statements and pay chits throughout, others dont.
