Hi,
Try your local estate agents and ask for a forced sale valuation. Most of them will do it for free.

You could also try Zoopla but they tend to value on the high side.

Ask your IP if they will pay for this as an expense of the IVA. We do it for our clients up to a maximum of £100 plus VAT. This should be more than enough.

I had trouble getting one recently from local estate agents. My Iva company said I had to pay for a valuation which I didn't want to do. Tried Purple Bricks instead. Book a valuation, they come and view. I got an online valuation in a day. Definitely would recommend them.

Estate agents will confirm the price of property in writing when they send you their ts&cs for signing.

SO get estate agent round, pretend you want to sell, ask them for their contract to consider and (hopefully) hey presto...

Of course don't sign the contract!

I never had a contract - just told the estate agents that I may be being made redundant and there was no problem with any charges at all.
