I wonder if anyone has had any experience of this. I completed my IVA over 2 years ago, out of the blue I have received a letter today from the "Consumer Information Office" to advise that due to a high court ruling last year, I could be due a refund of charges. Is it worth pursuing ?

Hi,

Ignore this -the court ruling is still ongoing and I doubt you would be able to reclaim any charges.

Thee companies are just ambulance chasers after money from you.

I agree with Kallis -- file under "waste paper".

I got it too,

Straight in the bin.

What is startling though is how have they got hold of any details relating to the fact that Iain.68 has had an IVA when he states he completed over 2 years ago[:0]

They will have trawled the register and noted when the IVA's were due to complete and kept them on file and then sent the letters out.

Thanks everyone for the advice, the letter has been duly shredded. Just wanted to say, what a great forum this is. #128513;
