Would any one recommend Creditfix in dealing and looking after an IVA? Looking to see if there are people with any experience of dealing with Creditfix?

Hi and welcome, no personal experience here, but there are mixed reviews on the forum. I'm sure someone with personal experience will be along to give your their opinion tomorrow.

As an ex client I would not recommend them.

Hi and welcome from me as well.
I've no experience either but recommend that you speak to more than one company.
Vincent Bond (details under ask experts a question link on the left hand side of the page) can be contacted for some free advice.

From posts on the forum they do seem to run an IVA fairly -- however, they really fail when it comes to communication with the client. They haven't really been a feature on this forum for long enough to make a fair comparison.
Personally, I would look at one or two of the smaller firms, where you get much more individual attention to detail.

I got moved to CF from PJG Recovery and I went from a personal and special relationship with regular calls and assistance to zero at CF. instead of speaking to same person where you make a connection with at CF it's just like ringing a call centre not speaking to the same person twice. The people at CF are ok don't get me wrong but I miss the personal touch at a smaller company

Hi Sam - meet your proposed IP face to face in person and get a feel for how the office seems to run and whether you think you can work with the IP/firm for 5-6 years.

Fingers crossed you don't get moved from your chosen IP/firm three years in where you had no choice where you ended up lol

Just got to try and be positive throughout the term of your iva whoever you pick.
The people who help and contribute to this forum are brilliant and although I've been mainly a silent reader throughout my five and a bit years it's helped me massively

I hated them but at the end of my IVA (which I settled with the very fair F&F offer they came up with) they completed quickly and easily and I had the completion certificate within 2-3 weeks. This changed my view of them. They also didn't mess around when it came to annual reviews. I never thought I would say this but in the end, I was happy with them.

I'm glad you've said that grimswold as I've just joined up with them admittedly they are a pain the the a**e to get hold of but so long as annual reviews are quick and fair then I'm happy also might be able to put forward a very early f&f as my mum has said she may be able to raise 10k for me as creditors will only get 7k over the 6yrs

As I have said before -- communication is a weak point, but they do run the IVA as it appears to have been intended and tend to take the course of least resistance ( which is generally in our favour). We have yet to see how they deal with awkward situations if they arise.
