Hi and welcome,

Unfortunately you are highly unlikely to be able to remortgage.

If you are having problems with the payments ask for a new I&E to see if they can be reduced.

How long have you been in it?

Hi, welcome to our forum.

Sorry to read the IVA is causing your and your husband stress, I agree it's not an easy solution but it is worth it in the end

A look at your Income and Expenditure is one option. Do you have a generous family member who may be able to offer a full and final offer on your behalf and then you can repay them fully after the IVA is closed at an affordable rate. I do acknowledge that some people's IVA is very private and they don't want to share with anyone.

I hope things get easier for you and you can find a way forward, do keep in touch with the forum as we're here to help and support.

If you have equity a secured loan might be an option (and may have to be a consideration as your iva comes to an end).

Shaun or Ryan under ask the experts might be able to help.

If you go down the secured loan route you will have to involve your ip.
