PPI CLAIM
My iva has finished, I have my completion certificate but I've received a letter from Barclays stating that I was missold ppi on a loan with them from 2001, (my iva ran from 2009 to 2015).They are paying back £900 but they are sending the cheque to my IP. Is this correct or should i get the money? I am puzzled

You may have signed a deed of assignment with DFD when your case closed and the money would then belong to the creditors in the IVA. You need to check with DFD who will advise better with full knowledge of your case.

Hi check with DFD. some other posters on here are saying they got consent from DFD when their IVAs closed to retain the PPI but now DFD have allegedly reversed their decision and are keeping the PPI.

If you signed an assignment then you agreed they could keep it.
If not it sounds like you might have a right to challenge this.
