Hi everyone as you know the last payment left my back a few days ago and this morning I have received a letter from DFD and I do not understand some of things they are asking for and I cant get through on the phone to them..

The letter states my IVA is ready to close and the following word for word....

There may be outstanding matters on your case that will prevent me from being able to progress your case to closure. This could be one of the multiple of the below

1.Signed Deed of Assignment (NOT SURE WHAT THIS IS?.)
2.A completed PPI Pack or questionaire. (DID THIS WITH THEM 2 YEARS AGO)
3.A full income and expenditure review completed within the last 12 months( DID THIS IN MARCH AND CONTACTED DFD IN OCTOBER WHEN MY NORMAL I.E REVIEWS WERE AND THEY SAID DO NOT DO IT YOU HAVE DONE ONE.
4.Outstanding Obligations put forward by your creditors at the meeting such as full time employment or receiving board and lodgings from anyone living in the property over the age of 18(NOT SURE WHAT THIS IS NOBODY LODGES WITH ME AND NOT SURE WHAT THEY MEAN BY EMPLOYMENT THEY NO I AM EMPLOYED.)
5.Outstanding arrears of income contributions.(NOT SURE WHAT THIS MEANS I OWE NOTHING?????.)
You have 14 days. Failure to do so will result in a breach of the terms of your arrangement.

Sorry it is a bit long but just unsure mainly the deed of assignment part.

Hopefully Laura from dfd will pick up on this but it seems very unfair to send this out expecting you to work out what the issue is and then saying failure to respond is a breach.

What's awful is I am panicking now!I have finished my IVA and I have done everything to the letter and what I was advised and to be given 14 days 1 week before Christmas is crazy with postal services running slow this time of year and stopping for the Christmas break.
I know I can pay and send Special but to sort everything out less than a week before Christmas is crazy and a bit out of order after 72 months in my IVA.
Just really low and depressed now I was hoping a congratulations letter but now just feel sick

Unfortunately it is just another indication that dfd is not what it used to be.

What a rubbish letter to get. If they believe you have breached your IVA they need to tell you what the breach is not leave you guessing. How can you fix a breach if you don't know what it is? Grrr! Send Doneover's letter by recorded/registered post and let us know how you get on.

Hi sharky980.I have also received this letter today.(19th Dec). Our last payment was 28th November after completing 76 months.DFD have received all Signed Deeds Of Assignment, completed PPI,and they have received I and E forms in March and October.I have phoned them many times before and since my last payment and was told all relevant paperwork received and no outstanding arrears of income contributions.Like yourself I am now very worried.I have emailed Laura from DfD this am so hopefully it will be sorted.I had to contact Insolvency Gateway last year as we were messed about with the remorgage side of the IVA and I will contact them again for advise if messed around with the closure side.I Hope you manage to get it sorted.

Whats the betting it is a holding letter, you are not actually required to do anything and the reality is they have a significant backlog but were not prepared to say that?

They probably have got a backlog. They told me when i paid my last payment that it could take 6 months to receive the completion certificate. For the last year I have had so many different answers to my queries.Thankfully i have taken every name of the people I have spoken to and the date I spoke to them.As far as Im concerned i have kept to what was expected from me for the last six years.I now just want my Completion Certificate so I can start to move forward.
