You should not have a problem opening a savings account.

I opened a savings account with our local Credit Union, better rate than the high street banks.

Hi, I opened a savings account in my IVA with no problems - often no credit check if existing account holder or a soft check just for fraud.

Just to add that the Co-op will not let you open a savings account if you have an IVA.

I opened two savings accounts with Natwest whilst on my IVA with no problems.....
