Hi,

I finished my IVA several years ago and have just received a letter from a company called Central Audit Bureau claiming that I may be entitled to money based on new criteria. Has anyone else received anything similar and is there any point me wasting my time calling them???

Best regards,

DM

You can waste their time calling them :-) If I get one I might, just to see what they are up to.

Just Google them. Comes up with 2 companies, both same address in Cheltenham. I think they are the sort of place that will act as PPI agent for claims and also take money for you to clean up your reports post IVA, stuff that you can do yourself for free!

I imagine the "new criteria" is the fact that the FO has ordered many lenders to revisit old claims as they deem them either refused incorrectly or underpaid.

The other possibility is that they are prematurely eying up the "reclaim PPI incorrectly paid into your IVA post completion" market.
