Hi,
I came out of my IVA last September, all paid and complete, I was wondering if I could remortgage my house, but not sure how I would stand with mortgage companies, does my IVA stay on my file for 6 years from when I started it, or is it another 6 years after completion ? Any ideas please elp anyone ??

IVA stays on file for 6 years from the start, but some mortgage lenders will not lend for 6 years after the end ! However, some will :-) Have a chat with Ryan.

Hi Darren
The IVA will make things more restricted when it comes to lenders, but will not stop you from doing this.
You need to ensure the IVA removed from all 3 credit files along with any adverse entries.
Once you have the reports i would be happy to look in to this further for you if you get in contact
