We failed our iva with payplan 4 year into it due to un disclosed extra earnings anyway even though we offered to pay these extra earning back , anyway this was back in nov 2014 we heared nothing at all from payplan as we were told we had failed over the phone on our answer phone !!!! we had no written confirmation at all until i got in touch we eventaully had a letter confirming the failure at the end of feb this year 2015 we havnt heared nothing at all from any of the debitors and just wondered do we need to inform them or do the iva company inform them and if so how long will it take them to get back in touch thanks in advance for any replies

You can wait for the IVA company or you can start doing it yourself.
Statutory interest etc. will probably be added back on so you will need to work out what your real debt position itself.

Hi Jayne. They will be informed by Payplan, but there is no harm in getting things sorted now by getting in touch yourselves.
What are you planning to do ?

Chedck the insolvency register to see if your name has been removed. You can then decide whether to petition for bankruptcy, enter a DMP or propose another IVA. The creditors will contact you eventually so it may be worth being proactive.
