I have just got off the phone with my IVA provider and feel in the prsent times, of what appears to be bad practice amongst a few providers,that i must salute the team at DebtFocus who have been my provider.
I am only four payments (and counting) away from finishing my sixth year (extra year in lieu of equity)and i called them up about advice about clearing creit report after i have finished which they did very clearly. They also stated that following my last payment my case would go to closures and that a copy of my completion certificate would be sent to all my creditors.
There have been a few hiccups along the way but they have treated me with respect and fairness which is all i can ask.
For those people who are just starting or in the middle of their time in an IVA keep going, believe me when i say it, it is worth it so you can be DEBT FREEEEEE
