Finally received my Certificate on 17th February 2015.. IVA was approved on 7th March 2008..What a journey.. I need to clean up my credit files.. Im still on the insolvency services I assume for 3 month. How do I go about checking my credit report...do I pay £2 for each report from the 3 credit agencies or is there another way to check this. What do I do once I have this information at hand.

You can get reports by signing up to various schemes, personally I go for £2 a pop. For a general overview you can join Noddle free ( part of CallCredit, one of the agencies).

£2 a pop over the course of a year is more cost effective.

Thanks!! Im trying to clean up my credit files. Have only looked on noodle so far and it shows a default every month by Marlin Financial Services Ltd I believe they took over from Northern Rock which they are on my IVA. I notice MFS Ltd date of default is wrong 22nd April 2009 but my IVA approved on 7th March 2009. Do I need to send a email or letter(as per Foggy Advice) but I also don't have MFS Ltd account number only Northern Rock account number will that do.

The Northern Rock account number should let them trace it -- but, for the sake of a month, maybe let it ride.
