Just had an email from Creditfix, letting me know to expect a letter from them with a new Standing Order form, switching over to an account with RBS... I can't see a problem with this, just wondered if anyone else had any thoughts?

Just had an email to say the same. Surprised they didn't do it sooner. Wonder what happens to those who don't manage to get the new standing order forms in the post, from the email it warns the account will go into arrears, but harsh!

Exact Wording:

If you do not return this to the office address IMMEDIATELY then your insolvency arrangement will go in to arrears and your case may be withdrawn, leaving you open to Creditor hassle.

--

Looks like they left it to last minute and Arbuthnot Latham want paying so they're scrambling to get us moved over.

I did wonder if they could have emailed the new account detail for us to set up our own standing order via online banking?

Email just arrived now !

Dear Sir/Madam

Over the next few days you will receive a RED ENVELOPE containing a new Standing Order form.

It is necessary for us to change your bank from Arbuthnot Latham, a private bank in London, as this Bank does not have the services required to manage your arrangement.  Arbuthnot Latham, also charge a fee of £200, for the privilege of running your account, it is, therefore, necessary for us to move the account to a high street bank.

We will, be moving all standing orders to The Royal Bank of Scotland, who have the technical capability to offer the proper products, for your arrangement, and they do not charge a fee for their services.

It is vital that you complete the standing order form and return this in the stamp addressed envelope provided.

If you do not return this to the office address IMMEDIATELY then your insolvency arrangement will go in to arrears and your case may be withdrawn, leaving you open to Creditor hassle.

Please do not ignore this letter; it is vitally important to keep your payments up to date to avoid any breach in your arrangement.

If you have any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to call our customer service team on 0141 565 1403 or email them directly at PJG@creditfixme.co.uk

Regards

Creditfix Limited

ive emailled them back immediately. Our payment goes early Feb so who do i send it too?? And can they really cancel iva arrangement and leave us open to creditors hassle if it gets delayed in post for example? And what services can RBS do that AL now cant?

You will need to cancel your current standing order and date the new one accordingly, so that they take the next due payment, otherwise you could find yourself paying twice in one month and it will prove an uphill struggle to get the payment back from the old accounts, which will be closed.

Poorly worded email and very abrupt and threatening!! 'Creditor hassle' is very professional!!
Standing orders can only be amended by the paying bank/customer unlike a direct debit. The s/o should be amended our end and then we return the slip to them for their records. I also don't want my IVA being highlighted at my building society. Bit cheesed off with receiving an email in this tone....think they will be receiving a reply advising them of this!!!

Hopefully the "Red letters" will be more helpful.
