I had a car accident last year. My fault (I suppose) I now have been landed with a £400 fine. I am in an IVA at the moment. 5 months in. There is no hope of me paying the fine all in one go and I will ring the court on Monday to explain. I am just wondering what my options are .

You could ask your IP for a few months break to cover the fine .... these will be added back on to the end of the term.

you can pay your fine in instalments just explain your situation to the court, they do expect it to be paid in 12 months however people on benefits only have to pay £2.50 a month.
